Create-A-Case Assignment Module:

This module provides information on the Create-a-Case assignment given before the start of your 2nd year. You’ll be assigned one GI and one Liver Disease with species and are expected to develop a detailed case including a clinical scenario, lesions, pathogenesis, a Master Problem List (MPL), and pathophysiology. You’ll also complete a Discussant Worksheet and present your case in a lab session.


Oral Case Presentations:

This module provides an overview of the importance of oral presentations in veterinary medicine, outlining their role in effective communication and clinical reasoning. It includes a content list and details the expectations for delivering a successful oral case presentation.

The Problem Oriented Medical Record (POMR):

This module focuses on the concepts of Problem-Oriented Medical Records (POMRs), emphasizing the importance of maintaining clear, complete, and organized medical records. It highlights the expectations for medical records in the VTH at WSU, ensuring they accurately reflect your thought processes and provide a reliable legal record of the case.

Providing Feedback and Debriefing

This module is split into two parts: 1. Providing effective student feedback and utilizing proficient techniques; 2. Approaches for conducting productive debriefing sessions.
