The Space America Cup and IREC 2017

The Space America Cup’s main event is the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC). Universities all over the world come together with their rockets to compete. Rockets are required to carry a minimum payload of about 9 lbs, launch to a target height of 10,000 feet, land back near the launch site and many more requirements see the official competition site for full detail of the competition.

This year is the first year the Engineering Club has taken on this design project. Designs are underway. Support our Rocket Team!
