We offer volunteer or paid opportunities to DVM coaches to help students learn from their simulated experience and acquire new skills.
- Work or volunteer as a practitioner coach – Your investment in Simulation-Based Education makes a life-changing difference for the WSU Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students, giving them the critical skills and confidence to pursue the professional opportunities that mean the most to them.
- Radically impact the student experience – Coaches help students learn from their simulated experience and acquire new skills.
- Participate in evidence-based, leading-edge experiential learning – Prepare veterinary students to transform the future of veterinary medicine by improving patient outcomes, client satisfaction, inter-professional interactions, and veterinarian wellbeing.
- Expand your own skillset and build professional relationships for the future – Practitioner coaches receive dedicated training in clinical communication skills and facilitating small-group learning. Hone your expertise while getting to know your future colleagues in veterinary medicine.
