Agencies will have 90 days to comply.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introduction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Powered by leading data analytics technology, the WADEPS dashboard will combine data from multiple sources to create visualizations centered on the use of force by officers and contextualized with data about community and agency characteristics and total police incidents.<br><br>Dashboard visitors will be able to create and review data stories about individual agencies, selected agencies, or all agencies in the state, and\/or by regions (city, county, or state), such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Rate of force by community characteristics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rate of force for specific time periods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rate of force by call type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Subject demographics (if known)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Officer demographics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community characteristics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All incident call types<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agency compliance with the law<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the WADEPS Dashboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Four tabs will provide four different ways to look at data provided to WADEPS by law enforcement agencies in Washington state.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__8281\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Overview Tab<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__8281\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>Combines required use-of-force incident data with incident-based computer-aided dispatch (CAD) data for all calls for service. Default view is statewide. Enables users to draw insights by county, city, or agency over a selected time frame.<br>Data blocks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Top Row&nbsp;<\/strong>:<br>Statistics for Total Dispatches (CAD), Total Use-of-Force (UOF) Incidents, and the Rate of Force (ROF.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rate of Force (ROF)<\/strong>:<br>A horizontal bar chart showing ROF for agencies\/counties\/cities from highest to lowest. Hover over the chart to reveal options to switch to city view and\/or select specific counties or cities to display.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Force Used by Month<\/strong>:<br>Shows the monthly count of all incidents as a vertical bar chart overlayed with the average monthly ROF as a line graph.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Use-of-Force Statistics<\/strong>:<br>Three blocks of statistics showing the average before force is used, the average number of officers present per use-of-force incident, and the percentage of use-of-force incidents within policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Use-of-Force Incidents by Call Type<\/strong>:<br>A circle (pie) chart displaying the type of incident calls which resulted in a use of force.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rate of Force by Agency:<\/strong><br>A heat map comparing agencies use of force over time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__22817\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Map View<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__22817\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>An in-depth view of use-of-force incident data, CAD data for all calls for service, and contextual data (such as socio-economic demographics and agency characteristics).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using drop-down controls above side-by-side map views, users can select from four different views: Rate of Force by County, Rate of Force by City, Raw Count by County, and Raw Count by City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Left-side map: Rate of Force data<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right-side map: Contextual data<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__72995\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Table View<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__72995\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>A single table containing available data for the filters selected by the user.
