We use Slack to enable communication around the many projects that we work on day to day, as well as to increase incidental communication\u2014sharing tips, suggestions, and interesting things that we find throughout the day.<\/p>\n Not too long ago, we started\u00a0another\u00a0Slack team<\/a>\u00a0for general use by the WSU web community. Anyone with a\u00a0wsu.edu<\/a>\u00a0email address can join this team and participate in discussion. We hope to use this as another way to foster an open and collaborative culture around the web at WSU.<\/p>\n Signing up is quick. Head to\u00a0https:\/\/wsu-web.slack.com\/signup<\/a>\u00a0to create an account. Once you\u2019re up and running, post questions and discussion topics in the default #general channel.<\/p>\n We\u2019d like to encourage a\u00a0default to open<\/strong>\u00a0mindset. Rather than relying on private messages, ask questions in the open so that everyone can benefit from the answer.
