The presentation and tour combination takes 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the group. The presentation takes place in a classroom at the Renewable Energy Center and covers PSE\u2019s wind assets, wind and solar technology, components, challenges, economics, and construction. After covering the basics, an outside walking tour visits the smaller 52 kw solar array, generator, transformer, blade, and a look inside of the base of an active wind turbine.<\/p>\n<p>All tour participants must go over <a href=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-hub\/uploads\/sites\/1121\/2016\/02\/PSE-Tour-Info.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">the guidelines<\/a> and sign a <a href=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-hub\/uploads\/sites\/1121\/2016\/02\/PSE-Liability.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">liability form<\/a>, which can be turned in upon arrival. We also have <a href=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-hub\/uploads\/sites\/1121\/2016\/02\/Wild-Horse-Directions.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">directions<\/a> to the facility.
