Dr. William James Gitzen (DVM), 64, owner of Gitzen Pet Clinic of Medford, Ore., died July 21 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Portland. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity at WSU. Survivors include two brothers, George N. Gitzen (’44 DVM) and John H. Gitzen, both of Medford.
