Dr. James E. Williams passed away peacefully at his home on June 8, 2022. He was born on May 19, 1932, in Ogden, Utah to Elwood Williams and Mable McBride Williams (later Stamey). He married his life partner, AnnaLue Nuttall Williams on June 1, 1953, and they raised four children.
“Doc” Williams graduated with honors in 1958 from Washington State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. He and AnnaLue established the first Veterinary practice in Heber that same year. They owned and operated the Arcadia Veterinary Clinic until they retired and turned the business over to their son, Dr. Bruce Williams, in 1996. Doc believed in the importance of good memories. He filled his life with hard work and with many good friends and family joining him in hunting, trapshooting, fishing, waterskiing, snow-skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycling and traveling adventures. His family always knew he cherished each of them.
He is survived by his wife, AnnaLue Williams; Children: Kim (Rodney) Player, Bruce (Cathy) Williams, Catherine (Blain) Ogden, and Pam (Brian) McBride; Sister, Bonnie Brown and Sister-in-law, Sharon Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Edward Stamey, and brother, Douglas Williams.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Charleston Town Hall; 3454 West 3400 South, Heber, Utah beginning 10:30 a.m. with a viewing before the services from 9:00 a.m.to 10:30 a.m.
