The Space America Cup and IREC 2017<\/h1>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

The Space America Cup’s main event is the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition<\/a> (IREC). Universities all over the world come together with their rockets to compete. Rockets are required to carry a minimum payload of about 9 lbs, launch\u00a0to a target height of 10,000 feet, land back near the launch site and many more requirements see the official competition site for full detail of the competition.<\/p>\n

This year is the first year the Engineering Club has taken on this design project. Designs are underway. Support our Rocket Team!<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
