I started the DVM program on the Pullman campus as a member of the class of 2029. Through communication simulations, we practice navigating difficult conversations and develop strong communication skills early in our careers. We also gain hands-on experience in clinical skills and simulation labs, where we learn best practices and procedures that promote the health and safety of our future patients. These experiences have helped me grow both professionally and personally by building my confidence, communication, and clinical abilities!<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__37634\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">What is your best advice for incoming students?<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__37634\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>My best advice for incoming students is to be patient and kind to yourself. Every day your best will look different, and that is completely okay. Some days you may not be able to study as much as others, but any effort you make is still progress toward your goals. Vet school is challenging, so it is important to recognize and appreciate the work you are putting in, even on the harder days.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__17667\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Why did you choose to attend WSU?<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__17667\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>I chose to attend the WSU DVM program because of the strong sense of community among the students, faculty, and staff. During orientation, everyone I met was incredibly supportive and genuinely invested in student success.
