Hi, I’m Kaetz!
I’m a DVM student from Utah and completed my undergraduate studies at Southern Utah University. I started the DVM program on the Pullman campus as a member of the class of 2029. This is my first year as an ambassador.
I’d love to talk to you about anything related to ag animals or the clubs I’m in, practicing rural medicine and sports opportunities in Pullman!

I wish I would’ve known that you are still able to live a life outside of vet school. It’s important that you take breaks from studying and enjoy other hobbies that you love. Although vet school is rigorous and very busy, I have made some of my favorite memories outside of school that I never thought I would have the opportunity to do during school.
WSU faculty are all very supportive and encouraging. I have yet to meet any faculty members that aren’t willing to help answer your questions. I can tell that they all care and want me to succeed.
My favorite part of the program is the strong sense of community we have here. We are all on the same team, and it doesn’t feel like we are competing with one another at all. I feel like a big part of this is because of the pass/fail grading system.
