Versatile and a great way to dive into something you love or explore things that are unfamiliar! They provide hands on opportunities and are a great way to network with peers and professionals. The clubs are low stress and high reward so get involved with as many as you want.
No! WSU is non-tracking which allows its students to foster a comparative way of thinking and more well rounded understanding of veterinary medicine. You will get to work with species you may never have seen before and, even if it is not the path for you, those experiences are so important to building our understanding of the veterinary field as whole.
You are not alone! Whatever you are feeling, whether it may be overwhelmed or homesick, know that you are not the only one and there is a wealth of people around who would love to support you in overcoming those feelings.
