Feline Club

If you have any interest in cats whether that be working with them in a clinical setting or if you just love to snuggle with them, then this is the club for you! We talk about a variety of topics which include cat behavior, dental health, internal medicine, oncology, and so much more. Typically, we have a lunch lecture about once a month and sometimes get the chance to collaborate with other clubs for a joint lecture.

Lauren’s cat Poppy is always on the hunt for a good cardboard box to sit in. As I always say, “if I fits...I sits”!

Feline club is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge on cat medicine and gain a deeper appreciation for how a cat operates. This club allows you to focus more time on learning about cats specifically as they are very different compared to dogs and often thought of as small dogs, which is not the case. There are so many important and simple modifications we can make for cats at the vet clinic to hopefully reduce stress and make their visit a more positive experience.
