This page, therefore, is dedicated to teaching you what to look for throughout your week\u2019s worth of interviews as well as exercising your note taking skills to guarantee your ability to offer each student feedback that is equally specific and constructive.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Observation:<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-row--sidebar-left\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<div style=\"height:70px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When reflecting on a student&#8217;s performance during an interview consider the following prompt questions and use them to guide your written responses.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-column wsu-color-background--gray-95\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5 Key Questions for DC Client Student Evaluations:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wsu-spacing-before--small\"><li>Did I feel heard? Did the student work to understand me, showing respect for my perspective and concerns?<\/li><li>Was I allowed and\/or encouraged to tell my story?<\/li><li>Was the conversation easy to follow?<\/li><li>Did I feel included,&nbsp;<em>i.e., in the loop,<\/em>&nbsp;regarding decision-making and\/or actions taken?<\/li><li>Did I understand and trust the student? Why or why not?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Note Taking:<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-row--halves\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<div style=\"height:55px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>During your DC week you will be assigned&nbsp;<strong>2 different clinics<\/strong>\u2014i.e., groups of 5 students. To avoid difficulty recalling which clinic recommended a certain test, and\/or which student said and did what, you will be receive an unmarked Student Photo Sheet for each clinic\/group every day.
